About Nomad Pictures

We are a full-service production company based in Portland, Maine.

Established in 1997 Nomad Pictures has grown steadily to become one of the most successful production companies in Maine. Our clients range from small businesses and non-profits to large multinational corporations. We offer all aspects of production from creative and scriptwriting to postproduction and animation services.

Producing quality video is simply what we do. In fact, our philosophy is “we are only as good as our last project”. The constant drive and desire to excel is what keeps us striving to over--deliver; and affords us the ability to create the best value for our clients. This philosophy has helped Nomad Pictures develop long--standing relationships with clients. With a staff of 5 and a large, talented freelance pool, Nomad Pictures has the resources for the most demanding projects and timelines

Our work has taken us all over the world and has been seen in as many places as we've tromped around with a camera. We're hoping you can spend a few minutes giving us a look-over and perhaps decide that we can do great things for you.

Who are these Nomads, anyway?

And do they really move around with the seasons? (No, we're staying put. We like it here.)

pictureBill Moulton, Director

Bill has been developing internal and external corporate communications media for regional and national clients sine 1990. In 1995, he founded Zoo Media. Zoo Media successfully built long lasting relationships with Disney World, Epcot Center and many other large entertainment companies in Central Florida. Feeling homesick, he returned to Maine and Zoo Media became Nomad Pictures.

Through Nomad, Bill has produced, directed and edited national and international infomercials, commercials, corporate videos and documentaries. Throughout the years, Bill has been called upon for his technical know-how and has been featured in publications such as 365 Broadcast and AvidProNet.

With a background in documentaries and features since 1998, Ben brings a filmmaker's perspective to his commercial and corporate work. He's been lucky enough to have projects take him across America and the globe, some of which have been featured on CBS, PBS, NESN, France 5, France 3, ETB (Spain), and at various film festivals.

Ben's short film "A Brief Case of Love" was selected for screening at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and his most recently completed documentary "The Last Link", narrated by Willie Nelson, has been broadcast internationally in over 12 countries. Ben sits on the board of the Maine Film and Video Association.
